I visited a blogging friend and met her very good looking neighbor…

First just a cautious peek.

It was a hot summer afternoon, hence the open beak.

Reminds you of an Oriole or a Kingfisher? Hornbill is a better guess :)  It belongs to Toucan family :)

And this is what it came to Sangeeta Khanna’s rock garden for :) Placing water bowls is the easiest way to attract birds during summer.

And then one last pose… notice the whiskers?


And it’s called a the Brown Headed Barbet, so the winner of ‘The Prestigious Yellow Polka Dotted Cup’ for the ‘What’s this’ contest is Bikram :)
